About Me

ü I grew up on a military base in Edwards A.F.B., CA.

ü I have been married for 4 1/2 years to my amazing husband, Ben.

ü I received three Associate of Arts degrees in Humanities, Liberal Studies, and Behavioral Sciences.

ü I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies & completed the credentialing program at Cal State University San Marcos.

ü I absolutely love to teach! It is my passion and I love being able to serve the Lord in my job.

ü I also attend and serve at Sanctuary church as their youth co-leader. My husband, Ben, serves on the church board and we are both very active in our church. God is wonderful! Ü

ü I enjoy watching movies, scrapbooking, reading a good book, learning more on apologetics, being with friends, going to the beach and going 'treasure hunting' at thrift stores in my spare time. Ü

ü So far, I have seen almost everything west of the Mississippi river. My husband and I are baseball fans and have seen 24 Major League baseball parks since our marriage 4 1/2 years ago. We've been able to do a lot of traveling which has been a benefit in the classroom!

üMy favorite foods are Mexican & Italian - I love to go to Cafe del Sol, Fred's Mexican Cafe, Italian Cravings, & 50's diners for the good food & fun environment.

üMy favorite subjects to teach in school are Bible, math and social studies. My students always come up with great questions!

üMy favorite colors are pink, black, celestea, sage green - and I absolutely love polka-dots.

üI have been teaching at CVCS for 3 wonderful years and have been very blessed at this school.

My goal for our 6th grade classroom is that we will seek God this year in all that we do and grow cademically, socially and spiritually. I know that God has great plans for our classroom and He wants to prosper us this year in our journey to the end of elementary school. I look forward to our year together and getting to know each and every one of my students and their parents. This will be a year of hard work and determination to be the very best that we can be in all aspects of our lives. I pray that we grow together and reach a whole new level of success!
